NORAD GROUND-BASED AIR DEFENSE B-ROLL
Army personnel operate an Avenger air defense system during a NORAD Temporary Flight Restriction enforcement mission in Bedminster, New Jersey, Aug. 8 and 9, 2026. NORAD employed a combination of airborne and ground-based capabilities to monitor and protect the airspace during the enforcement of Federal Aviation Administration established TFRs. The integrated defense posture demonstrates NORAD’s layered approach to aerospace warning and control in support of Operation NOBLE EAGLE, its mission to defend the airspace of North America.
